Hotel Assistant Manager
Interaction Recruitment is working with a client who is looking for an Assistant Manager to join their hotel operation. Working closely with the General Manager and all the departments within the hotel you will ensure that the standards of the hotel are maintained.
My client is a standalone individual hotel in Suffolk not far from Bury St Edmunds or Newmarket. They are not star rated, nor are they fine dining or rosetted, this is deliberate. My client runs very successfully on their reputation. The restaurant provides some of the finest dishes their chefs can create using all local suppliers and cooked with a passion, anything from a sausage roll for a wedding buffet to a seven-course taster menu for a Directors Dinner. Bars that serve some of the best ales, wines and locally produced gins, to rooms that are immaculately kept and are under the careful watch of the head housekeeper. The hotel is a popular venue for weddings, catering for over seventy annually. Afternoon tea is always popular as is their traditional Sunday lunch which usually sees around 150 covers regularly.
The new Assistant Manager with complement the already hard working team who give my client their excellent reputation. The successful candidate needs to be hard working but also someone who can think outside of the box, work well with others and lead from the front.
You will be working with all departments within the Hotel outlet, building relationships with customers, taking time out of your day to ensure each guest is given the best service. This includes being actively involved in the Operations, Events and Food and Beverage department’s management.
Above all, you will have exceptional attention to detail.
You will work on average 8-10 hour straight shifts, 5 days out of seven, including weekends.
My client is looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join their team who loves what they do on a daily basis. If this sounds like you please do get in touch with your CV or call Aaron on at Interaction Recruitment.
