1st Line Support; London; Up to £26k

London based Client who specialise in the supply of raw materials and machinery to large manufacturing companies across the Globe are currently expanding their IT team and are looking to hire someone to provide 1st Line Support for the ever growing business.

Key Responsibilities

·Liaise with 3rd party support companies on network, server, security and office365 issues
·Provide in-house support on hardware & software issues in London (face-to-face) and regional offices (remotely)
·Setup / maintain the following;
oUser profiles on our network and Microsoft office products
oUser profiles on various in-house applications
oNew desktops & laptops software and reformat old ones
oNew printers on network and resolve related problems.
oMap network drives on desktops and setup sharing permissions.
oVideo Conferencing between London and regional offices
·Provide support on SAP-B1 related tasks;
oReporting tool for SAP-B1 (accounting & management reports)
oBackup & Restores databases on SQL Server
oAmend layout designer and change users form settings
oDuring SAP-B1 Upgrade projects
·Maintain all IT knowledge base documents
·Keep track and maintain current Hardware Assets and software allocation

Person Specification

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·Proficient in Microsoft products - Word and Excel
·Hands on experience of installing IT software applications
·Working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, Exchange and Citrix
·Good organisational skills
·Good time management
·Higher Education; BSC degree
