One of our well-established clients based in Warrington is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:

- Producing weekly accounts statements to show money coming in and going out
- Producing VAT returns
- Dealing with bank reconciliations
- Bookkeeping
- Providing daily account updates
- Supporting the year-end team in the reconciliation of corporation tax, PAYE, sales ledger and clearance accounts
- Making adjustments to the weekly accounts summary prior to the client run
- Ensuring that expenses have been processed through the accounts

You must have previous experience of working in an accounting practice.
