An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading company based on the outskirts of Nantwich.The ideal candidate is looking for an experienced person to add value to the business by coordinating growth activities, including identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.
The ideal candidate will be a creative with excellent organisational abilities. Relationship management including excellent communication skills, both within and external to the business are vital. Experience with several media including social media would be a prerequisite.
The goal is to promote and expand the company's commercial activity and brand identity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
* Internal: manage communications of projects between and within branches with regard to campaigns and new service offerings. Formulate and maintain a communication policy for the business including our 'house style'.
* External: manage external communications for the business including clients, public relations, social media policy, press, other veterinary businesses. Manage the marketing for the business including brand profile and identity, livery and consistent business image.
* Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met, add value for them and build strong relationships.
* Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing).
* Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams.
* Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
* Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring including monetizing new ideas.

Technical Skills and qualifications
* In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
* Familiarity with working with budgets and reporting on financial aspects of the role
* Good to excellent IT skills with all MS Office applications and relevant marketing Software/applications
* Previous database/Customer Relations Management experience
* Experience with MS Access
* Qualifications in marketing would be beneficial

* Previous experience of leading and working in a team - evidence of contributing positively
* Previous management experience preferred
* Meetings management experience
* Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
* Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
* Demonstrable evidence of achieving results in a timely fashion
* Experience with IT solutions and various modern media
* Agricultural or pharmaceutical business skills founded on commercial experience, combined with executive roles in these businesses preferred.
* Evidence of (commercial) success in previous roles
