Our client is based in North London and are a Manufacturing and Process company. They are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to cover Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical skills.

Job Description

The role is a shift based position, working 12 hour day and night shifts from 6am - 6pm and 6pm to 6am, on a rotating 4s and 5s pattern.

Duties and responsibilities

Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance on production machinery and plant as well as Instrumentation.

Liaise with the Shift Team Leader to agree priorities in reactive and planned maintenance.
Carrying out plant modification work

Give advice on the selection of equipment and plant to improve plant reliability and maintainability.

Completing departmental reports and administration

Complete testing on site to maintain Quality accreditations..

Take responsibility for your development and training to ensure you continue to develop your skills and remain up to date with changes in technology.

Salary: £29, 390 basic salary, £12,175 shift allowance.

Person Specification

Qualifications and experience required

Hold recognised mechanical qualification: City & Guilds / BTEC / ONC / HNC or equivalent
Completion of Engineering apprenticeship.
Exposure to a LEAN approach to manufacturing.
Experience of driving continuous improvement.
Experience in a CMMS system is desirable.
