Senior Accounts Payable Officer | Dunfermline | Up to £25,000 per annum

Change Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a key client who is looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Officer on a permanent basis to join their already successful finance team.

Working in a fast paced and dynamic finance function you will be working in a close knit team to achieve overall company objectives and add value through utilisation of your experience to date. The role has overall accountability for the day to day duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable function.

There will also be a focus on continuous process improvement and you will be given autonomy to add value and really push the function forward. Ideally I am looking for someone who can demonstrate how they have added value and pushed an accounts payable function forward.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Responsible for supplier reconciliations
- Accountable for purchase order administration including invoice authorisations
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to nominal ledger
- Review aged creditor analysis& debit balances
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries
- Continuous process improvement
- Ad-hoc project work within finance

You should have experience in the above key areas and come with a drive to add value and progress your career.

The ideal candidate will come with a working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. It would be beneficial if you have have previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience within an Accounts Payable function however it is not essential.
