Field Sales Executive –  Convenience Retail

We are now excited to be growing our existing field marketing team by recruiting for a driven, ambitious and articulate sales professional. We employ and retain a high calibre of Field Sales Executives to work with some of the most famous brands in the world.

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for visiting up to 300 Convenience retail accounts (both Symbol & Independent), i.e. McColl’s, Nisa, Spar, Londis, Premier, Co-Op, Costcutter, (on the Symbol side) Independent stores will be the likes of your local corner shops and news agents. All of these stores will be across your geographical territory.

- Implement & execute the operational field strategy for the Convenience channel
- Regular callage on selected Symbol & Independent retailers
- Drive distribution, availability and display standards within those outlets
- Deliver a return on investment within the defined geographical territory
- To grow volume sales and profitability within the Independent and Symbol retail channel by achieving targets for product distribution

-  by presenting compelling sales propositions and selling stock from the car display standards
– location, facings, product presentation – by preparing and presenting compelling propositions

- Use supplied POS to maximise visibility of products and thus increase sales
- To complete visits as per your journey plan – 15 calls per day
- To build external relationships with retailers and store personnel and to track competitors’ activity by forming networks with them
- Complete feedback on every call using the given reporting procedure after each call, maintaining up to date records


- Field Marketing
- Retail store experience at any level i.e. Assistant, Supervisor, Deputy, Department, Team leader.
- Graduate with some sales experience
- Field Sales/ Sales experience in any industry


Ideally, we are looking for graduate calibre applicants or field marketing professionals who can hit the ground running and build a solid career with us however we will also consider outgoing candidates who may just have some initial sales experience. Additionally, we would be very interested in applicants who have worked in grocery retail, looking to move into sales.  

You must have a full UK Driving license.
