Pension Planning SERVICE (pps) Consultant

- Have you got a minimum of 5 years experience working within Financial Services?
- Do you have a G60 and/or AF3 Qualification?
- Do you have knowledge of COBS product and sales process, TCF and Data Protection?

Your new role

Responsible for the pre approval of at retirement cases for draw down and annuities as well as SIPPs for COB business. Ensuring these comply with the companies framework, feeding back to advisers the decision reached and the rationale behind this.
Review and sign off of both the advice and the suitability report.
Predominantly you will be carrying out the below duties:

- Responsible for case checking of Pre Authorisation at retirement cases, completing a detailed analysis of each case.
- Preparing and presenting evidence on appeals for core and external clients.
- Contributing to service improvements to achieve cost efficiency and effectiveness whilst project managing your work to ensure client KPI's are met/exceeded in terms of timeliness and quality of output, adding value wherever possible.
- Contributing to the delivery and improvement of business management systems, procedures and processes.
- Providing support and guidance to peers and more junior staff to distribute knowledge and ensure contemporary planning issues and legislation are cascaded and understood.
- Supporting the growth of the team by making a positive contribution to business development, securing repeat work and applying a commercial lens to all work undertaken and behaviours.
- Completion of QA
- Act as a point of expertise for Partner`s, Sales Management & the wider business to ensure that their needs are met & issues resolved
- Build and maintain professional and effective relationships with the following stakeholder groups., Advisers, PAs and Para Planners, Practice Principles, Practice Supervisors, SQRMs / QRMs, SDDs / SDMs

What you'll need to succeed
You must have knowledge of COBS product and sales process, COBS regulatory requirements, TCF, Data protection, Anti Money Laundering and a Diploma qualification is essential. You must be also be able remain calm under pressure, have clear written and spoken communication skills, good analytical and problem solving ability and strong influencing skills.
