Do to a departmental restructure; our client Secondary school have a fixed term requirement for an English teacher to join their faculty ahead of the new academic year. The successful teacher of English will hold full responsibility for planning and marking, and teach a full timetable across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

- Full time position, September start

- Earn in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £38,250 per annum)
- Fixed term for 12 months with opportunity of a permanent post from 2018

The mixed comprehensive 11-16 school is significantly larger than average with 1,200 pupils on roll. The Progress 8 Score for 2016 is +0.17, with results in the English department being the highest since 2012. With recent refurbishments, the department is well facilitated and each classroom is equipped with new technological equipment. The incoming English teacher will be expected to implement provisions to ensure all learners have the ability to excel, and will be fully supported by the well established faculty. In most recent Ofsted inspections, the school has been praised for their progression and outcomes for all students.

The school is located near to the central region of Salford and can be accessed from Bolton, Wigan and Bury via the M602 motorway. Public transportation links from Manchester City Centre also provide a direct route to the school.
