Job Title: Marketing Executive (Membership Retention)

Reporting to: Marketing and Communications Manager

Our client is a world renowned Art Gallery within the Central London area. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to assist within their Membership team.

Main Activities/Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver marketing communications to Members, with a focus on achieving
renewal targets throughout the year
* Write effective copy for a range of retention communications across digital and print media
* Deliver retention Members marketing campaigns, including regular email bulletins, renewal notices, upgrade campaigns
* Develop, implement and optimise communications testing plans to increase renewal rates, engagement and membership revenue
* Deliver individual giving campaigns during the year to encourage members to donate to the Gallery
* Manage relationships with external mailing houses and internal data team to ensure Member mailings are delivered on time and produced to a high standard
* Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders such as exhibition marketing, events, catering and content team, to ensure Members receive all the very latest news, content and events from the gallery
* Oversee the Marketing Assistant in the management of all membership stock volumes,
development of social content and the implementation of the membership renewal mailing schedule
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships across various sites, including Liverpool and St Ives, to ensure Members are receiving the most relevant information and events.

Person Specification
* A creative and results focused approach to marketing with the ambition to achieve and exceed targets
* Relevant marketing experience, including direct mail and digital, ideally within a
membership or subscription environment
* Excellent communication skills, with proven copywriting ability
* Highly developed attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
* A highly organised approach to work including demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with experience and project managing campaigns
* A team-player, with the confidence and proven ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders across Tate as well as with external partners.
* Proven initiative and drive to come up with new, creative ideas and put them into practice
* Understanding of the principles of equality and diversity as they relate to audiences and the ability to apply and promote these in practice at work.
* An interest in and commitment to the work of Art Galleries.

* Experience using email software.
* A marketing qualification
* An interest in art
