Permanent Sales / Administrator (Steel Industry)
£26000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday 08.30am – 17.00pm
AS&T have been asked to recruit on behalf of a brand-new client based on the outskirts of Leeds, Selby an experienced Sales Administrator who has previous track record within the steel industry.
You will need to have both good coordination / administration skills coupled with confident customer facing skills as your role will be to provide support to projects (once initial interest has been established) to raise quotations, handle customer queries or enquiries and follow any potential enquiries through to order and delivery, coordinating and managing the process from start to finish.

To succeed in this varied Sales Support Co-coordinator / Sales Administration role you will need to have

A Sales order processing / sales administration / technical administration / project co-ordination or similar background
Be happy working as part of a team environment
Good communication and organizational skills
Previous knowledge of production processes within a business desirable but not essential.

Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously and able to prioritize accordingly.
Job requirements:
Build and maintain good relationships with customers
Keep customers updated on orders
Expedite and ensure delivery within time-frame
Compile forecasts for customers
Receive sales orders and check stock
Monitor and manage stock levels
Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required: support function to Sales Manager
