Our client are a leading Technology & Engineering Group who are looking to recruit an M & E Contracts Manager (maintenance) to look after a commercial office facility in the Worcestershire / Gloucester area

Main Purpose:

You will be responsible for overseeing delivery of all Hard FM Services including statutory maintenance through a team of engineering technician’s, operatives and subcontractors.

You will deliver extremely high standards in technical electrical & mechanical maintenance, establishing consistent service provision throughout the contract.

Core Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring safe working practices
• Responsible for planning and delivering maintenance services to meet all contractual requirements
• To ensure all electrical & mechanical planned and preventative maintenance is applied to all plant and equipment in accordance with service schedules produced in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
• Issuing and taking to completion electrical & mechanical PPM schedules, remedial works, method statements, risk loads, implement workloads for team.
• To ensure that all necessary electrical testing and inspection of plant and equipment is completed in accordance with the appropriate statutory and contractual requirements.
• To manage all electrical & mechanical engineering subcontractor activities in accordance with PPM and reactive schedules.
• Ensure remedial activities are conducted where needed and continuous improvement is delivered
• Manage all services within agreed budget targets
• To ensure that company Health & Safety policy is applied by all engineering and maintenance staff at all times.
• Compile and maintain a Risk Management Register for the area of business under your control

Essential Skills, qualifications & Experience:

• Recognised Health and Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH)
• Qualified in Building Services (M&E) discipline
• Operational experience within the Hard Engineering Services marketplace
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety requirements related to delivery of M & E Services
• Minimum five years’ experience in building services maintenance in a similar environment
• Understanding of P&L Accounts, cost and commitment control
• Experience of project management from conception through to completion

If you have an AP qualification this will be very advantageous, however the employer is willing to train the successful candidate if they do not hold AP capabilities

Working hours are Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week
