This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Manufacturing and Engineering company as their Health & Safety Officer / HR Officer

Overview
The Company has 2 factories ranging from foundries to engineering workshops across the midlands area. You will be working with the senior management team to improve the safety culture across both sites whilst also being pro-active and hands on.

Key responsibilities:
- To review, update and implement the companies Health & Safety Policies and procedures
- Set the groups Health & Safety strategy
- Provide Health & Safety training and inductions
- Appoint safety reps and chair safety meetings
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture
- Undertake accident and investigations
- Liaise with local authorities with regards to any issues
- Be a point of contact on the shop floor

Job requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the Engineering background industry. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- You must hold a minimum of a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & safety
- CMIOSH Member or working towards
- Experience of managing multi-sites
- Experience of behaviour safety / culture change
- Have a hands on and proactive approach
