Graduate Surveyor - Recruitment
I am recruiting a Property Graduate (Real Estate, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar) to train as a professional services Recruitment Consultant for the market leading Property recruiter in Bristol (BS1), with offices in Bristol and London.
The role: This graduate trainee opportunity will enable you to fully utilise your property sector knowledge, recruiting property professionals from graduate up to Director level, in the fast paced and highly lucrative recruitment industry (this professional services sector of recruitment requires the candidate to have a property degree and 2 years APC graduate training and is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
You will be mentored by one of the company directors to ensure you learn best practice and have the support necessary to forge an exciting and rewarding career. Some sales experience would be a definite advantage although this is a consultative sales process where the ability to build strong relationships, understand business and the intricacies of this sector and communicate them effectively is key.

You will be working with an established client base including global property consultancies and developers, leading corporates, retailers, central government, charities and privately owned niche specialist firms, recruiting for many on a preferred supplier basis.
The package: Basic salary up to £25,000 + uncapped commission (OTE c.£50,000, once fully trained this will be closer to £70,000), 24 days’ holiday (increasing to 30 with length of service) + bank holidays + birthday off, annual summer and Christmas parties, high-achievers lunch in a top restaurant every quarter, enhanced private pension, childcare vouchers scheme, mobile phone, laptop, life insurance, team social events and dress down/early finish on Friday.

A minimum of 12 months’ work experience (preferably sales based)
A Degree in Property, Surveying, Estate Management, Commercial Management or similar (a business-related degree will also be considered).
A proven track record of achievement, academically, professionally and/or personally
Excellent relationship building, presentation and communication skills
A consultative approach and a pride in delivering a service of the highest quality
A high level of confidence, drive and self-motivation, necessary for a consultative sales environment.
