Job Specification
* To be part of a Team responsible for the sales of personal lines insurance and assist the growing and development of the company.
* Dealing with Inbound and out going calls.
* Advising clients (following FCA Guidelines) on products and the suitability of policies meeting their demands and needs
* Dealing with general queries from customers relating to insurance sales/service/mid term adjustments.
* Assisting the Team to sourcing new business and renewing existing business
* Processing customer documentation and collecting premiums in timely and efficient manner
* Face to face and telephone selling to customers of all products and services
* Building good working relationships with brokers and other agents.
* Promoting new insurance products
* Liaising with insurance companies underwriters to adapt policies for clients
* Keep insurance companies marketing literature up to date
* Assisting the claims department if necessary

* Person Specification
* The candidate will have strong personal lines experience in the insurance broking industry for a minimum of two years.
* Clear and effective communication and negotiation skills
* Eye for detail when information gathering in order to sell and advise correctly.
* Displays effective time management.
* A desire to work towards benchmarks and targets
* Identifies new sales opportunities
* Experience and full ability to compliantly sell insurance products
* Demonstrates a positive attitude to change
* Actively seeks to develop self through training available
* A working knowledge of FSA Regulations and Guidance.
* Committed to Training and Competency
* Competent at Business Processes, eg IT, back office systems
* Good working knowledge of insurance claims procedures and processes.

Hours of work 9am-5pm. -Monday to Friday.
