Accounts Payable - Italian

Fluent Italian speaking role responsible for processing supplier's invoices, providing support to the businesses in the EMEA region. The key focus of the role is to ensure that the team process all supplier invoices received on a timely basis and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Receive, prepare, sort documents by category PO, Non PO or Sch. Agreement
Identify critical vendors
Reject / Re-route non invoice documents (including sending invalid PO invoices and keep log in xls)
Data Entry Verification (E.g: Data Input Check Report)
Invoice Matching
Parking invoices with exceptional issues (1st level) - End user
Parked Report Analysis (2nd level)
Raising MRNs Manual Invoices
Verification / Approval
Send invoices for approval
Obtain GL code & cost centre for Invoices
Debit Balances Analysis
Debit Balances Resolution
Reconcile vendor statements
AP open item listings clearing over 60 days: Liabilities
Complete periodic closing activities
Credit notes Received
Clearing of Credit notes - link with invoice relating if applicable
Send documents for final archiving
Resolve discrepancies (e.g. Price Quantity issues) and support resolution
Research and resolve duplicate payments using CCM Reports
Manage queries email box/Phone calls effectively and timely
Reconcile vendor account Statements
System and others (OCR, process improvement projects etc)
Able to train other team members.


Italian language skills desirable
Experience in a Finance role ideally Accounts Payable
Delivers on commitments and can work within predetermined deadlines
Develop, agree, and Implement self-development plan
Experience of working in a team ideally in a Shared Service environment
Able to train others
