Contracts Manager. A Bristol based construction firm is recruiting for a Contracts Manager. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the health, safety, environmental and quality compliance as well as the financial monitoring and control of the contracts. The Contracts Manager will report to the construction director and will oversee and build relationships with the site managers and the wider site team including subcontractors, clients and stakeholders. The Contracts Manager will also be responsible for programme planning and customer relations.
The Contracts Manager will need extensive experience of managing projects within a residential and commercial environment, a good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting. The Contracts Manager will need experience of project management, planning software MS project, project commander and crest. The Contracts Manager will be educated, have a CSCS card, SMSTS, experience of pre-qualification and tendering process for a number of multi-discipline projects, excellent people management skills and the ability to influence and mentor. The Contracts Manager will have excellent communication skills.
The Contracts Manager salary is £45-50k + benefits
