An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Administration Assistant to join the team of our client based in Doncaster. This is a permanent position offering full time working hours (7:30 - 16:30, Monday to Thursday and 7:30 - 16:00 on Friday), a company bonus scheme and free on-site parking.

Main Duties

* Progress and chase monies owed to the business and minimising overdue debt from customers
* Communicating with various client departments and systems to ensure that invoices due are not withheld for payment over the agreed credit terms
* Communication methods include email, telephone and, where necessary, video conferencing
* Process purchase invoices, ensuring the correct quantities, values, dates and other details are correct according to PO & GRN and inputting onto the system to enable the purchase ledger to reconcile and determine payments to be made
* General administration duties as required by the Finance Lead
* Further office administration duties including, attending meetings to take minutes and action points and supporting the development of the Business Manual

Successful Candidates

* Detail oriented with a high level of numeracy and literacy
* Able to work with other departments to achieve results
* Good level of IT literacy
* Comfortable working with targets
* Good communication skills (written and oral)
* Problem-solving skills, able to look for ways to work through challenges to arrive at positive results
