Accounts Assistant - Our client is an established, niche Travel consultancy, boasting a strong client base. Due to recent growth, it is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Director and Managing Director with the day to day accounts and administration.
The role will include sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, credit control, supplier statements reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, analysing ATOL returns, expenses and handling supplier and customer queries. The position will also include some administration tasks such as updating the database with sales and client information.
The position will suit a capable Accounts Assistant with strong IT skills. Knowledge of Excel Sage and Gallileo would be useful but not essential. The successful candidate will be very much a team player with strong communication skills and a "can do" attitude.
