Assistant General Manager
As a market leader within the Pfi and PPP sector, this high-growth long term developer, investor and operator of public sector infrastructure assets supports a broad range of projects encompassing Property, Construction, Infrastructure and Waste Recycling. Continued and successful expansion through winning bids, financial close and new projects has created a new opportunity for an Assistant General Manager. Supporting the delivery of a services agreement for a key client, you will monitor and manage service protocols and act as a technical lead. your brief includes:
•Development of understanding of Project Agreement & service provider contracts
•Monthly Service Review meetings for contract & service assessment
•Chairing monthly Operations meetings
•Monitoring & management of Subcontractors
•Review & assess output specifications for the project to ensure compliance
•Co-ordinate a Risk Based Monitoring regime & address actions or non-compliance
•Monitor, review & report on performance of Hard FM & Soft FM / Facilities Management service providers
•Identify & highlight critical high-risk areas within service provider compliance regimes
•Providing guidance for development of processes
•Review service provider operational internal audits & monthly reports
•Acting as a Technical Lead to ensure compliance with national standards, best practice & legislation
•Asset Management Lead undertaking due diligence of replacement proposals from subcontractors to ensure works are required & proposed cost is reasonable
As a member of an appropriate professional body and ideally, a professional Engineering or Facilities Management qualification (CEng, IEng, EngTech, BIFM), you will demonstrate an in-depth experience of Facilities Management service, statutory & regulatory compliance and detailed knowledge of contractual, statutory & guidance documents alongside a track record of service delivery. The role demands an engaging management style, the ability to influence key stakeholders and an understanding of financial management in a contract or project focused environment. Knowledge of the PFI, or PPP sector and/or SPV-Special Purpose Vehicles is advantageous.
