About the Learning Support Assistant Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, it will be up to you to lead sessions for individuals or small groups in order to boost attainment for high achievers or work with students who need additional support. In this Learning Support Assistant post you will be liaising with the Inclusion Manager, SENCO and class teachers to identify and target the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. Your responsibilities in this Learning Support Assistant role will include lending support to teachers of all year groups as you join a range of classrooms.
