We are a successful manufacturing business in the automotive sector who are currently looking to hire an assembly maintenance engineering with an electrical qualification such as City & Guilds 16th or 17th Edition 2360 / 2330 / 2356, or similar relevant qualification.

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical, mechanical, service and maintenance background and ideally come from the manufacturing sector. You should have come from either an apprentice background or be time served.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the assembly line is working smoothly, ensuring that routine maintenance is carried out and attending to any breakdowns as quickly as possible to ensure consistent levels of production.

Our assembly lines run using Pirana Software. You do not need to know this, but it would be to your advantage of you do. Other desirable skills include, Spot Welding experience, knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Package on offer:

Basic salary between: £23,000 to £33,000 on experience.

Working week: 39 hours Shifts are 5.30am to 1.30pm / 2.00pm to 10.00pm / 10.00pm to 5.30pm with an early finish on Fridays. (Continental shift allowance of 26% on top).

Overtime available: Yes

Holidays: 25 days + 8 Bank Holidays

Staff discounts: Offered on certain types of vehicles up to 24%
