Responsible for the day-to-day management of the PPC and SEO agency and other off-site digital marketing traffic-driving initiatives to drive to the website and increase sales conversions and customer satisfaction for the brand.

Key responsibilities:

Management and optimisation of website to include:
• Provide day-to-day support to the Ecommerce Marketing Manager for the launch of the new website and act as the lynchpin between the development agency and the product and sales teams.
• Particular importance will be place on the User Acceptance Tests on the new website and ensure that the website has been built to scope.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the multi-channel strategy. Grow the share of website sales to the agreed targets by increasing traffic and sales conversions.
• Manage and optimise the website customer content, usability, navigation and processes for ease of customer use and to drive traffic to the site.
• Work with our external digital marketing agency to manage all technical and commercial updates to continuously improve web performance.
• Project manages all monthly campaign changes including the homepage and service page promotions with the digital marketing agency.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) campaigns:
• Manage the day-to-day running of the SEO campaigns for the website to secure natural online search ranking to agreed targets.
• Work with the other members of the marketing team to ensure on-site product merchandising meets the overall SEO strategy.
• Manage the digital agency to develop off-site marketing actions (Content portal, blog posts, link earning etc.) to improve natural search rankings and drive traffic to the site.

Pay per Click (PPC) campaigns
• Manage the day-to-day running of the PPC campaigns within budget to drive traffic and conversions on the site.
• Manage the digital agency running the PPC campaign.
• Propose and develop online promotional campaigns for PPC.
• Maximise the potential of the on-going developments and changes that the search engines make.

eCRM marketing:
• To manage the development and implementation of a successful e-newsletter customer communications programme.
• Plan and brief email marketing newsletters to the external newsletter agency.
• To support the Marketing Analysts to produce email data segments and clean the email addresses on a regular basis.
• Plan and develop online loyalty programs and actions e.g. welcome pack to secure customer reactivation and reactivation to dormant customers.

Online Marketing Campaigns:
• Develop and test banner remarketing campaigns to drive traffic, new customer conversions and brand visibility.
• Recommend and develop new campaigns that develop the visibility of the brand for our target market.

Website and campaign reporting and analysis:
• Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of all SEM campaigns using Google Analytics; Web Master Tools; internal data reporting systems and through our digital agency.

The ideal candidate will:
• 2 years minimum experience in digital product marketing, preferably within the retail/distribution sector.
• Be commercially minded with a strong enthusiasm for growing the online presence and product sales online.
• Be self-motivated and ambitious to pursue a career in digital marketing.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to maintain good working relationships with suppliers, design teams and other departments within the business.
• Possess ability to be organised and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics is desirable.
• Hold a good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat is essential. Adobe Photoshop is desirable but not essential.
• Be proficient in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
• Have good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
