Stock Forecasting Analyst
Salary up to £30,000 dependant on experience.

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Stock Forecasting Analyst on behalf of a thriving international company. They specialise in the purchase, storage and supply of bulk stock and act as a distribution and supply chain solution. The role will be based in Gloucester within a small and close knit team.

You will be providing support to the Demand Planning function, analysing and loading customer forecast information in order to drive purchase and expediting suggestions across the Buying and Supply Chain Teams.

The role will include:
- Reviewing customer forecasts/schedules on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Analysis of, but not restricted to; forecasts, schedules, historic demand, annual volumes and branch sales forecasts. Creating reports and provide to management.
- Liaise with sales departments to gain local knowledge for use in analysis
- Production of forecast accuracy data
- Management of MRP settings
- Explain and inform colleagues of the reports, teaching them what they mean

The successful candidate will have worked within a forecasting or demand planning function, ideally within a manufacturing background. Your previous analysis will have impacted the business in a tangible nature (product rather than bookings or staff resources etc).

A strong knowledge of MS Excel is essential; you have an advanced understanding of Excel (Macros, V lookups, Pivot tables etc). You will have analytical skills and possess excellent attention to detail. Qualifications are not required, and graduates must have relevant work experience to apply.

Salary is dependant on experience and our client will consider applicants up to £30,000.
