Our client is a highly regarded hotel with rosette standard restaurant in the city seeking a highly organised and capable junior chef with good skills and a broad food knowledge to join and enhance the kitchen team. You will take responsibility for supporting the team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality are maintained at all times in a thriving high end dining operation.

You and your team will prepare and cook an extensive and varied menu ranging from fresh seafood to classics, speciality steak, grills and contemporary fusion food to provide our guests with a dining experience of the highest quality. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of menus and a chance to showcase your creativity.
You will provide the passion, drive and commitment to organize, and control your sections maintaining consistent quality. You will operate according to high standards and follow all standard kitchen routines. You will monitor and control hygiene, stock and kitchen safety. Previous experience in a similar role is essential along with a current food safety qualification.
