Our client is a National Education Provider who are looking for a Training Provider Sales Manager to join their expanding Business Development team, based remotely from home.

The Business Development team is the account management and growth team of the company offering advice, support and guidance to new and existing customers on our products and services to gain increased sales through exceptional customer service. The team provides a personal service to support our customers to deliver and run our qualifications. They do whatever they can to make life easier for our customers so that they have an enjoyable and successful experience of working with us.

Duties:

  • To develop, implement and monitor the delivery of the business plan arising from the Business Development strategy

  • To lead, manage, and develop the Business Development account exec team to ensure a co-ordinated and consistent approach

  • Reporting on weekly and monthly targets as well as giving key insight into their customers behaviour and forecasting likely growth or decline in product areas

  • To motivate and empower the team to meet targets, develop solutions to issues and support their centres through educational and funding changes

  • Manage a selected group of accounts and grow in line with targeted income

  • Forecast income by department level, customer type, product, region and account exec

  • To set, monitor and manage the achievement of team targets by allocating resources appropriately

  • To manage the TP Account exec budget

  • Develop account plans for their mid/ high value accounts to give insight into activity

  • To be responsible for exceeding the income target for the TP Account Team

  • To meet agreed targets for business development activity and assist in the development of future targets

  • Work closely with the EPA team to cross sell opportunities and offer a 'full service package’ to customers.

  • To maintain current knowledge of developments in the education sector, customer activity and the company's products and services

  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with key senior stakeholders and education sector contacts

  • To represent the company at key national events and conferences

  • To be pro-active in identifying business opportunities

  • To lead on specialist cross-organisational projects as required

  • To contribute to cross-organisational issues and the achievement of organisational objectives

  • To carry out any other duties, appropriate with the grade of the post, as requested by the National Operations Manager
