Graduate Teaching Assistant Specification
The school are looking for an amiable graduate who achieved at least a 2:2 in your degree and has previous experience working with children either in a voluntary or paid role. You should possess a passion for learning and demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for education. This role would be perfect for a hardworking, ambitious graduate who wants to become a teacher in the future and is hoping to gain some first-hand exposure before pursuing teacher training. You must be caring, excellent at communicating and supportive in your approach.
About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
In this exciting Graduate Teaching Assistant position you will be supporting classes as and when needed within the KS2 phase and you will be catering to the individual needs of SEN pupils. This Graduate Teaching Assistant position involves raising pupils’ attainment in small groups and teaching in a stable and supportive environment where the leadership are always close at hand. Additionally, you will have a chance to contribute to the wider life at the school, participating in one of the many extra-curricular activities available here.
