PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide support to the Financial Planners, service to the company’s clients and other general tasks as part of administration team for company.

NATURE & SCOPE OF THE JOB

Client support/compliance tasks
• Maintain data on back office systems (client personal, investment and transaction data)
• Fully engage with back office CRM system and proactively look to ways it can improve efficiency
• Gather client data from product providers and clients
• Dealing with day-to-day client correspondence from product providers and liaising with Financial Planners on any further actions.
• Obtain product quotes and sales information
• Gather data for and generate client review reports
• With the help of detailed user manuals, carry out new business and client administration tasks
• Administer client portfolios via wrap platforms
• Self-invested pension scheme administration & SSAS administration
• Basic group pension scheme administration
• Liaise with suppliers ie pensions providers
• Anti-money laundering client file checks
• Maintain new business and case progress register
• Work with and support other members of the team to ensure deadlines are met

General office tasks
• Open and distribute post in / scan to document management system
• Meet and greet clients
• PA support to the financial planners (for example: sending meeting reminders to clients and rearranging appointments as necessary)
• Updating company’s operating processes as required/requested
To carry out any other duties that you have been trained and able to carry out

4. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
• Good literary and numeracy skills
• Good IT skills to include Microsoft Office and internet based applications
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively to ensure effective implementation
• Ability to communicate effectively with both team and client, both written and verbal
• Ability to work without supervision and to be flexible to the needs of the business
• Ability to work as a team member of small team or independently
• Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and trust
• Demonstrate tenacity when dealing with supplier call centres
• Experience in dealing with insurance and investment companies

Desirable
• Certificate in financial planning
• Understanding of the financial planning process/broader knowledge of the financial services world
• Experience in administration of self-invested and SSAS pensions schemes
• Experience in financial services software tools: Voyant, Finametrica
