Qualified Social Worker - Looked After Children (LAC) - POD System

Salary : £30,000 Upwards- Dependent on experience.

Our client is currently looking for someone to join their LAC team. This role is looking to be recruited to as soon as possible meaning we can get the process moving along, hopefully getting you stuck into the position immediately.

This Local Authority has recently adopted a POD model system in their service meaning you are part of a Practice Support Group. This gives you the chance to have weekly supervision groups where a range of cases are discussed. As a result, you are able to consult your peers on any cases you might find difficult and gain extra support.

It is a permanent position with the potential to progress therefore you are able to try the role and open up a career path for you. There is a manageable caseload allowing you to build a better relationship with your service users and have less pressure within your role.

We have previous candidates working at the authority for a while now and can assure you that is a lovely team to work within with a very comfortable working environment.

To be successful in your application, you will need:

- Supervisory experience in a social work setting.

- A degree or masters in Social work

- Be HCPC registered

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or want to be put forward for this opportunity.
