As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team you'll be helping a variety of male and female Clients with various Complex care needs.
Experience of working with these types of clients is desired, but not essential, however we do need people with 6 months Care / Support Worker experience. If required, we'll provide you with specialist training for working with the client.
However, we are looking for people who are reliable, self-motivated and who can act on their own initiative. You'll also need to have hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport as the clients are throughout Greater Manchester.
As you can see, the work and the locations are varied, challenging and rewarding, which will help you grow and develop as a Support Worker.
As the work is mainly funded through private Case Management, the shifts tend to be several hours long and the rates of pay are excellent, from £8.50 / hour for weekdays rising to £10.75 for nights and week-ends.
In addition, we also pay holiday pay, which increase these rates by 12% to a very competitive £9.52 / hour for weekdays rising to £12.04 for nights and week-ends.
Please note, these are the minimum rates of pay and depending on the contract they could be higher.
However, we are looking for people who are reliable, self-motivated and who can act on their own initiative. You'll also need to have hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport as the clients are throughout Greater Manchester.
The team here at the branch are always friendly and supportive resulting in a happy and loyal workforce. Also, you will not be under obligation or pressure to take work.
