Job Title: Credit Controller

Working with our well established, prestigious client, we have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temporary - permanent contract.

Job Description:

* Chase up on a daily basis, any monies overdue for payment to the Company from customers, as directed by the Credit Controller
* Allocate the Bacs/Cheques payments to the relevant customer accounts and reconcile the remittance advice, telephone the customer if any underpayments
* Investigate any account queries, following up with relevant departments and managers to resolve the issues as quickly and effectively as possible
* Assist in other areas of accounts, including logging on Purchase Invoices, filing & post.

Candidate Requirements:

* Data Input, accurate & methodical
* Accounts understanding
* Effective communication skills
* Able to use Excel & Word
* Able to work alone but also as an effective member of a team
* Able to plan tasks and organise workload.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Salary: £15,000 - £16,000 pa
