Job title: Account manager
Main purpose of job
To increase new business for the firm primarily concentrating on Residential and Commercial Conveyancing.
To respond to and follow up sales enquiries by telephone, post, e-mail and where required, at meetings with potential new clients utilising the pricing policies laid down by the partners from time to time.
Providing accurate quotations to potential clients with the sole objective to convert to a retained client and instructed matter and dealing with any follow up queries which may arise.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients together with 3rd party work introducers
Carry out market research and competitor analysis
Attend training meetings to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Representing the Partners and firm at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Review your own sales performance against targets
Liaise with 3rd Parties as and when required regarding instructed cases.
Identifying new markets and business opportunities
Assist and supervise support staff as and when required.
Maintain records of quotations given and instructions received.
