Donor Acquisition Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic social welfare charity to head up a growing donor acquisition programme across the UK, it will focus on recruiting new regular giving and cash supporters, across a variety of channels, Door to Door, Private Sites, Lotteries, Direct Mail, Telemarketing & Digital.
Develop, monitor and manage the Individual Giving Acquisition budget
Monitor monthly income and expenditure budgets
Strategic input in the charitys supporter recruitment programme
Monitor and evaluate all acquisition activity
Manage the face-to-face and all other off-line and online donor recruitment channels
Report on the performance of all recruitment activities against income and expenditure budget and KPIs
Build successful partnerships with external suppliers and hold them to account
Train, and monitor the performance of, face to face and telephone agencies fundraisers
Prepare training materials for agencies fundraisers, and produce appropriate donor communication materials
At least two years of managing face-to-face fundraising campaigns and at least two other recruitment channels
A strong working knowledge of face-to-face fundraising techniques, such as door-to-door and private site fundraising
A good working knowledge of other regular giving acquisition techniques and mechanics, such as telephone fundraising
Experience of managing donor acquisition expenditure budgets of at least 1.5m per annum across a variety of offline and online media
Experience of budgeting and forecasting income and expenditure budgets
Effective negotiation skills
Creative approach to problem solving
Highly organised and effective planning skills
Good level of numeracy and the ability to work with complex data sets
