Are you an IT Network Administrator looking for a new challenge and a chance to make a real difference?

** £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

You MUST have:

  • Firewall Security and Antivirus skills
  • Asset management and control
  • Hardware (Desktop, PCs, Printers, Mobile devices, phone etc.)
  • Virtual Machines (VMware, Servers etc.)
  • Operating system patches and maintenance
  • Password management
  • Familiarity with standard protocols such as TCP/IP/HTTP/SSH/DNS/SMTP
  • Excellent trouble-shooting ability, able to rapidly diagnose and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of load balancing, firewalls
  • Exposure to network/kernel tuning for performance
  • Scripting languages such as power shell, bash or similar
  • Microsoft exchange
  • Experience in SSL, VPN, LAN, WAN implementation and maintenance
  • Active Directory
  • Knowledge of window and Linux server management
  • IIS
  • Apache including virtual hosting
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to upgrade based on industry standard and best practices


It would be beneficial if you also have:

Knowledge of Azure or similar cloud service
Dev Ops Experience

Planning:

  • Strategic planning for IT infrastructure and management of internal projects
  • Planning for future growth and ensuring IT infrastructure is regularly reviewed in terms of saving costs and improving the quality of service to our internal teams and clients.
  • Security improvements

We'd also like you to have:

  • Good communication skills, good English, and a confident telephone manner
  • Be polite and approachable and feel comfortable liaising with people
  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • Show a willingness to listen, learn and develop
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and take pride in delivering these in a timely manner and to a high level
