Sales Analyst - Fast Growing Investment Data Startup London

Location: Central London
Salary: Basic £20K, OTE £40K - £45K
Hours: 9am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday

Our client is a technology company that provides accurate, standardized data to many of the world's leading hedge funds. Their platform enables many institutional investors to access data from over 1700 funds.
They have been established for 5 years and have circa 15 staff. They are servicing a growing number of clients and the vacancy is due to the firm's growth.

Sales Job Opportunity:
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be tasked with increasing the number of clients who purchase financial fund data. This will be achieved through initially booking in product demonstrations and as you become more familiar with the product you can expect to convert this into meetings and sales.
The role will involve performing the following tasks:-

* Ensuring that there is a pipeline of deals and contacting prospective clients by cold calling
* Qualifying clients to determine their requirements
* Meeting potential customers in person and relaying feedback relating to the product
* In a typical week you can expect to book circa 10 meetings or demonstrations and to ultimately achieve circa 3+ sales per month.

Over time you will develop a good understanding of the financial services sector and can expect to gain additional responsibility and remuneration as our client grows.

Jobs Requirements:

* Desire to make outbound sales calls to senior investment professionals.
* Candidates should possess experience in a customer facing or sales related role.
* A 2.1 or First class degree in a Finance, Statistics or Mathematics related discipline is desirable.
