A busy Kent based IT company needs some more experienced 2nd Line Support Engineers to assist with support and implementation of its clients Windows based IT infrastructure.

Support is for mission critical applications in Financial Services companies, predominantly based in London.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting Microsoft Servers and networks both remotely and on site Supporting telecommunications and VoIP services
• Helping with upgrades, office moves and disaster recovery projects
• Working core hours with some shift patterns for extended trading hours depending upon the clients you are supporting.
• Our client has such a solid track record with the clients it presents to the FCA all of the risk elements for regulatory approval on behalf of at least one of their clients. They're trusted, capable and growing.

So what do you need to join?

• At least 4 years in a support role in which there were technical issues to solve
• Great understanding of Windows servers, including its service, Active Directory, tolerance and redundancy features etc.
• Great understanding of network topologies and components with some experience in creating / maintaining mixed networks with QOS requirements etc.
• Flexibility in working hours
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Great communication skills with a personable nature
• A genuine interest in team and strengthening everyone through knowledge sharing
• Your own transport, although you'll never be out of pocket with expenses.
