About the Role

The Access to Education Service provides individual and small group teaching to students who are out of school. We provide education for students, aged 5-16, many of whom have complex SEN needs and/or challenging behaviour. We are currently recruiting a part time experienced and creative primary or secondary teacher.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a clear focus and are committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Have a "can do" attitude.
  • Are energetic and innovative in their approach.
  • Are able to work flexibly both on their own and as part of a team.
  • Have the vision and drive to inspire and support others.
  • Are committed to the progress and well-being of all pupils.
  • Can engage and build strong effective relationships with all partners and the wider community.
  • Can create an environment in which all aspire to achieve.

If you are a qualified teacher, with substantial experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, and have excellent IT skills (preferably with knowledge and experience of using a Virtual Learning Environment) we would welcome your application.

Experience of teaching a range of complex SEN is essential.

Our north east office is based in Esher, however you will be expected to travel extensively around the north east Surrey area, including Epsom and Ewell, Spelthorne and Elmbridge. You must therefore have a full driving licence and the use of a car.

For more information please find attached to the bottom of this advert a full job description.

We look forward to receiving your application.
