Data Manager

We are currently looking for an innovative, passionate and driven data manager to join our team, in our office based in Canary Wharf, supporting schools with their data analysis through software support and development. We require you to have previous experience with data within a School or School-like environment where you have gained a strong knowledge on schools and school data to effective analysis and enable continuous improvement on our data analysis software.

Availability will need to be;

Full Time - Monday to Friday
8:00 am to 17:00 pm

The successful applicant will be devoted to supporting schools and be creative and will be someone who will put their heart into the organisation as it expands.

The dedicated team member will be responsible for;

  • Analysing pupil, school, LA level data
  • Cross checking data sets
  • Managing new and existing clients
  • Liaising with pilot schools, clients and non-clients to discover what is needed to support schools with evaluating pupil performance
  • Design innovation reports to support schools and improve quality
  • Liaise with developers to explain and support with creating and developing new reports
  • Software testing
  • Using SQL to query from relational databases for analytical purposes
  • Supporting clients via phone and email
  • Delivering online demonstrations of the software
  • Promoting and training the software at schools
  • Dealing with adhoc IT issues within office

The ideal candidate will be organised, timely, and approachable and willing to travel occasionally. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are also required along with the below knowledge and experience;

  • Previously worked with data in a School/MAT/LA etc.
  • Strong pupil data analysis knowledge and experience
  • Previously worked with school data management systems and/or software’s
  • Have excellent Excel Knowledge (Expert level knowledge of Vlookup, Pivot tables, formulas etc)
  • Creative and Innovative
  • Drive to support pupil and school development
  • Have excellent IT Skills
  • Maths, Science or IT background (preferred but not essential)
