Quality Assurance Specialist - Hull

Company: With over 60 years experience operating in the industry, our client are global leaders within the print and packaging market offering extensive graphic capabilities to major blue chip accounts.

Salary: DOE + Benefits including pension, life insurance and healthcare

Role: Working as part of the Quality Assurance Team under the direction of the sites Quality Leader you will provide support in maintenance and delivery of the sites Quality Management System. You will work directly both with internal & external customers establishing good working relationships and providing a first point of contact for the business with regards to Quality Assurance.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a burgeoning professional to begin their career as a Quality Management professional within the print and reprographics industry. The role would suit a recent graduate or current professional with relevant experience looking for a new opportunity.

Duties include:

* Project Management of Continuous Improvement
* Conducting Internal audits
* Corrective and preventive action resolution
* Administration of the sites calibration register
* Administration of the customer complaints database
* Investigating customer complaints applying appropriate investigative tools
* Working with the Quality Leader to maintain the Quality Management System
* Assisting with external audits

Core Skill Sets/Aptitudes:

* Good communication skills
* Excellent problem solving ability
* Excellent report writing skills
* Understanding of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 14001
* Knowledge of Six Sigma
* Experience of print and reprographics industry
* Experience of flexo plate manufacture
