My client, an growing bank group based in the City of London, are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their team through an implementation project for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will be working alongside another member of the team, reporting into the Payroll Manager, and working in their chic high-rise offices right in the heart of the City!

Main duties of the role include: 
• Responsible for administering monthly payroll function for approx. 1600 employees (and rising)
• Liaise with HR staff to process employee data onto the Cascade payroll system.
• Prepare the monthly payroll run and organise payments.
• Assist in processing share related benefits through the payroll and reconcile supporting schedules.
• Prepare payroll annual returns including P35, P14, P11D.
• Ensure compliance with real time information requirements.
• Process and check all statutory sick pay adjustments
• Manage auto-enrolment process.
• Process monthly pensions data and provide reconciled file for Group.
• Keep abreast of legislation changes.
• Process monthly journal into general ledger and provide reconciliation of control accounts.
• Work on payroll efficiencies.
• Answering staff payroll queries.
• Process expenses and prepare fortnightly expense run.

Person specification:
• Experience with Cascade Payroll is highly desirable
• Experience with large volumes (1000+) highly desirable
• Experience within financial services preferable but not essential
• Ability to pick things up quickly, use own iniative, and deal with queries comfortably is essential
