Our client has a very large media/events business which has a solid reputation in the market. The role sits in a division which has seen its events grow from an initial 4 per year to close to 25. The company provide some of the best training in the market and you will be put on an initial 6 courses in your first year to develop your sales style and confidence. This position has come about due to an internal promotion.
About the role of a Delegate Sales Executive:
As a Delegate Sales Executive, you will be expected to focus on selling to existing customers and sourcing new clients. The sales process is telephone based and the client base is international. You will be working on around 12 events per annum.

You should be able to demonstrate competency in the below key areas, it is not essential to meet all requirements but priority will be given to applications that satisfy most:-
- Have some experience in selling delegate spaces previously (media sales people will also be considered).
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with new and existing clients.
- B2B telephone sales skills.
- Able to generate at least £10K per month in delegate revenue.
- Evidence of working in a team environment towards a common goal.
- High attention to detail and able to work in an organized and professional manner.
- Evidence of achieving / over achieving targets.
- An understanding of consultative sales process.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
