A PM/CM job in London managing all site based activities for projects with a high spec Main Contractor.

Your new company

Your new role
Reporting to Senior Management you will be responsible for managing all site-based activities to ensure that contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards and within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction. You will oversee the Contractual responsibility and running of c; 3 to 4 projects and ensure each site's Progress against Programme and Quality is maintained, and/or carry out the submission of all relevant documentation.
In your position you will prepare the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction works start and develop the Tender and Contract programme of work and strategy for making the project happen.
Furthermore, you will compile procurement and IRS schedules and liaise with the Buyer/Project Surveyor re site labour and specialist requirements, information and deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
Driven to succeed and self-motivated you will have excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best possible outcome for the business, whilst preserving future client relationships.
You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, be a strong team player and will have the ability to keep cool under pressure and when working to demanding deadlines.
You will have 8-10 years' experience with a reputable Main Contractor and will be able to demonstrate a proven understanding in managing Contractual and Commercial Risk.
A MCIOB and/or BSc in Construction Management is preferred.
