Prospero Teaching is seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated teacher of KS5 Art who is an outstanding, talented, inspirational and dynamic teacher with an excellent track record of raising achievement in their own classes

The school based in West London, and is a co-educational, comprehensive Academy for 11-19 year-olds, and have twice been judged by Ofsted as outstanding - once in 2008, and again in 2012. The school offer high quality teaching and support, and expect all their students to achieve very highly. Recently 100% of their Year 11 students gained 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C, with 75% of these achieving A*-C in English and Maths. These excellent results were the highest of any non-selective school in the borough.

Art taught at the school is a vibrant experience for students who enjoy a dynamic and enriched curriculum and is a popular choice for students at GCSE and A level. Experience of teaching A level is desirable.

The suitable candidate will have a clear vision of how to ensure all students can achieve and will make a significant contribution to the continuing success of the team.

To be considered you will have:

The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,
A passion for Art and the ability to share this with young people
Excellent classroom management skills
Excellent organisational and ICT skills
The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
You are a fully qualified teacher of Art (PGCE,QTS,B'ED etc).
You can provide 2 teaching references within the last 2 years.
You hold the right to work in the UK.
You have a DBS or are willing to complete one.
You have passion for Education.
You have a provable track record of teaching Art at KS3-KS5.
