The Position - ARP Teacher
As an ARP Teacher in this Outstanding primary school you will be required to teach a class of 6 students in KS1 that are all on the Autistic Spectrum, you will also be supported by two teaching assistants in the classroom at all times. One of the students in this particular class is nonverbal and one student has Downs Syndrome. The ability levels of the class vary completely. Therefore, you must have extensive knowledge and experience on the EYFS as well as the primary national curriculum. You must be a fully qualified teacher that has experience teaching in both SEN and Primary. Ideally, this outstanding school are looking for an ARP Teacher to start after the May half term however they are willing to wait until September for an exceptional candidate.

Found in the London Borough of Bromley, this primary school caters for students aged 3-11 years and they also have an ARP (Autistic Resource Provision) that currently has 20 students on a full-time basis, which is where this role is based. The school is very easily accessible via public transport from many areas in London and is just a short walk from the train station.
