Management Accountant (Head office)- Coventry
Here at Wallis Lynch, we are working with a Coventry based client to recruit them a Management Accountant to sit in a head office/central reporting role to manage all central accounting and treasury activities.
In this role you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller. You will be given the responsibility for collating group weekly revenue/payment/KPI reports and producing consolidated report. Producing consolidated management accounts for each division, acting as lead on audit and controls compliance, ensuring balance sheet controls are reconciled across the group, ensuring all VAT returns have been submitted for property companies and any required VAT payments made.
In addition you will be trusted with the preparation of weekly and monthly cash forecasts, monitoring cash flows on daily, weekly, monthly basis, highlighting any cash flow issues, preparing accounts for the head office companies, calculating recharges to operating and development companies. Within your role you will have control of all Payroll and Pension matters too.
As the ideal candidate you will be part qualified/finalist accountant with experience ogf producing head office accounts. You will take pride in being highly organised and have strong communication skills and comfortable working in a challenging but rewarding environment. You should also be confident in your use of excel, holding an advanced level and a keen interest in systems and process improvements.
