I am currently recruiting for an IT support assistant to join my client based in Kings Lynn.

The role is for a candidate looking to gain more experience and build a career within the industry. Looking for a dynamic and creative individual who can jump into the role.

Training will be provided with all in house systems and any other software training required to keep you updated.

The requirements of the role are:

• 1st Line telephone support of office and factory based users in a windows domain, containing windows 7/10 clients, Microsoft office (Apply online only) applications.
• Support and maintenance of Apple mac based users, deployment, updates, backup and network integration etc.
• Remote support of external based laptop users, sometimes with additional languages requirements (French, Spanish and Italian)
• Support and deployment of business smart phones, with focus on IOS device.
• Maintenance, deployment of planning of network infrastructure, servers, printers, switching equipment ,anti-virus software and software auditing.
• Maintaining backups (off and on site) of critical systems and data throughout the company.
• Sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of IT equipment, followed by the documenting of IT spending for review by Accounts department
• Travelling on a semi regular basis to Castleford satellite factory for maintenance to carry out IT duties. This will sometime require overnight stays.
• Creating and updating IT systems documentation and procedures for both internet use and audits both CCL and customer.
• Implementation of management CCTV systems.
• Day to day maintenance of company NEC telephone system while liaising with telephone supplier.
• Any other duties required.

Skills Required

• GCSE/ A Level English, maths and IT qualification
