Job Title: Client Relationship Executive
Reporting To: Client Relationship Manager

Role Definition:

As part of the Procurement Team, you will play a pivotal role in the forging and development of relationships with key Suppliers and Clients alike, ensuring Contracts are delivered successfully and significant savings are achieved across the business.

Job Description:

* To effectively manage the Client relationship with indirect materials Suppliers (50+ categories; including mechanical, stationery, welding, electrical, pumps - of which 120+ sub-categories)
* To take responsibility for the smooth running of Contracts - reviewing, developing and enhancing commercials and negotiating discounts on behalf of the Client from Suppliers and Management Fees
* To effectively identify leakage through robust data analysis, spend analysis and market analysis
* To drive compliance with agreed Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs) and internal procedure(s)
* To take full responsibility for the tendering process of indirect materials Suppliers
* To support the overall governance of the Procurement/Supply Chain programme
* To work closely with the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to deliver on key account deliverables and drive efficiencies in the process(es)
* To complete weekly reporting, ensuring close monitoring of spend reports
* To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the job role

Experience Required:

* A strong background in Procurement with indirect category/Supplier spend management preferred
* Demonstrable experience of negotiating prices and agreements with Suppliers
* Experience of ensuring quality standards are maintained alongside strong performance management culture

Knowledge Required:

* Sound knowledge of SAP applications advantageous
* Good working knowledge of technical detail and/or product descriptions

Qualification(s) Required:

* MCIPS/Degree Level Qualification
