A highly reputable 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated children's services provider based in the East Anglia region are looking for a Deputy Manager offering up to 30,000.

They run a successful and high calibre care and education services for vulnerable young people with behavioural difficulties and mental health conditions.

You would be joining a management team including one Registered Manager and multiple Deputy Manager's to oversee the smooth running of the home.

The Deputy Manager must have the following

* NVQ Level 3 Caring For Young People / Children's and Young People's Workforce / Residential Childcare
* NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management (or be willing to work towards)
* Minimum 1 supervisory experience (Senior Support Worker / Team Leader/ Shift Leader / Deputy Manager)
* Desire to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people
* Flexibility to work the on call system

The Deputy Manager's responsibilities are to

* Report directly to the Registered Manager
* Work with the other Deputy Managers to oversee the home
* Lead teams on shift
* Deputise in the Registered Manager's absence
* Carry out supervisions of staff
* Support and promote professional development of all staff
* Correctly complete and maintain administrative records
* Safeguard residents at all times
* Strive to improve outcomes for all residents
* Be an ambassador for the company at all times

This is a great role for a current Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager within residential child care to progress with a highly reputable organisation
