We are looking for an ambitious experienced Quantity Surveyor within housing to be based in Warrington. The successful candidate will be managing 3-4 housing schemes across the Merseyside region. The main responsibilities will include the preparation of budgets and tenders, valuations and management of sub-contractors.

Requirements

* HNC / HND in Building Studies - Minimum
* BSc in Quantity Surveying - Desirable

Responsibilities

* Feasibility and Order of Cost Estimating
* Formal Cost Planning
* Preparation of tender and contract documentation
* Attendance at project and design team and other meetings
* Confident at client meetings
* Assisting in the development of other junior staff
* Closing out accounts

You will have experience in the construction industry and will be able to demonstrate and apply in practice your professional knowledge based on the construction related degree. You must be a creative and proactive individual with hands-on approach, good problem solving skills and ability to work to deadlines. Also, you must be a good communicator, working well as a part of a team and being confident when participating in business meetings with clients and associates.

For your experience and expertise our client is offering a day rate of £42,000 - £50,000.
