Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is hiring for a Management Reporting Analyst, responsible for effectively coordinating and assisting in the preparation of business reporting; ultimately ensuring that all reporting whether localised or regulatory is produced right first time.


* Drive and improve business reporting and analysis across the business, ensuring accurate, fair and appropriate outcomes for client, customers, colleagues and company are evidenced in any reporting as appropriate.
* Own the collation and analyzing of financial services rating agency submissions, providing an annual variance report prior to any submission
* Preparation of monthly business reporting for the Board, Management teams and Clients within agreed timescales
* Create high quality presentations through Power Point and then presenting to senior stakeholders, ensuring commentary is succinct and relevant to the audience.
* Compiling detailed reports using data reporting tools and making recommendations based on the findings.
* Deep dive data analysis across the Operation, providing high quality reports to support operational / business areas in an accurate and timely manner.
* Assist the organisation in identifying and quantifying opportunities and problems through the intelligent analysis of its processes, organisational design and strategy.
* Work with Operations and Business Intelligence Teams to define and build performance measurement dashboards, providing high quality reports to support operational / business areas in an accurate and timely manner.
* Key point of contact within the business for analysis and reporting.


* Decisive, resourceful, problem solver and lateral thinker with ability to react positively under pressure, meet deadlines and cope with changing fluctuations in business requests
* Report production and model building - communicating data, articulating requirements, expectations and desired outcomes.
* Exceptional grammar and writing skills to produce sophisticated reporting packs to the Board, Management Team and Clients.
* Analytical mind set- an ability to probe for information and develop insights for Board and Management team awareness
* Proven experience in MS Excel, Word, Power Point
* Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving abilities
* Demonstrable ability to quickly implement tactical plans to deliver objectives
* Eye for detail - able to identify flaws and errors in reporting
* Proactive - able to go and seek out issues and gaps without guidance
* Able to work solely on your own and as part of a team; with strong communication and influencing skills
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Commercial acumen, connecting needs of our clients, customers, colleagues and company to create value
* Degree educated (minimum of 2:1) with GCSE in English & Maths at Grade B or above
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst or Management Reporting Analyst
* Experience of working within a Business Management Function (desirable)
* Proven experience of extracting and analysing complex data from multiple sources
* Relevant professional qualification
